• Program Description. Phoenix Electric CO may send SMS/MMS messages related to: billing notifications, appointment reminders, dispatch notifications, and job completion surveys.
• Opt-In. You may opt in via our website forms (by checking the consent box) or verbally in person or over the phone.

• Mobile Information Sharing. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share data only with service providers who perform services for us (e.g., messaging/scheduling), under agreements prohibiting further use or disclosure.

4) Verbal Opt-In Procedure
Phoenix Electric CO collects opt-in verbally from customers. Customers may opt in to receive SMS messages either in person at our physical location or over a phone call. When a customer is registered for the first time, we ask for their phone number and our staff is trained to ask if the customer would like to opt in to SMS-based billing notifications, appointment reminders, dispatch notifications, and job completion surveys. Customers are verbally informed that “message and data rates may apply,” “message frequency may vary,” and they can “text HELP for support or STOP to unsubscribe at any time and no further messages will be sent.” Customers are also informed that their information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We record the customer’s name, phone number, date/time, the opt-in method (phone/in-person), and the consent language used.
